What Cadence Reader does

Cadence Reader turns your eBooks into spoken audio using the voices already on your device. Import an EPUB, PDF, DOCX, RTF, or TXT, and the app reads it aloud with sentence-level highlighting, background playback, and lock-screen controls. Audiobooks and recordings live in the same library. Save your place per book, adjust voice and speed, and pick up exactly where you left off. The reading itself needs no internet connection.

Free is not a trial and does not expire. Cadence Plus is sold monthly or yearly by the App Store and Google Play, which show the price in your currency and are also where you cancel it. If a subscription lapses, nothing is deleted: every book stays on your device, and all but one locks until you subscribe again. You choose which one stays open.
